engine mounts

I need to change the engine mounts on my s2. Can this be done without removing the engine. Is there any way I can jack the engine up and then supporting the sump get at the engine mounts to replace them.

If it's similar to the s3s 2.9 engine then I'd say you'd buckle the sump if you jacked it up. I've just taken the engine out of mine and it is *very* heavy. If I were you I'd hire/borrow an engine hoist and attach it to the manifolds and lift it the little way you need to replace the mounts.
