HI anybody planning on camping at the venue I have just had an email back off Andrew greenwood who organises these events and it sounds like camping is available sat and sunday £10 per night with access from 2pm sat I was thinking off doing both nights and making a weekend off it just wondering who was planning on doing what ? I have copied and pasted the original email

David

Thank you for your email.

No pre booking for camping at Blenheim as truthfully we don't really encourage camping at any of our events. Blenheim is the only 2 day event in our summer calendar and we usually get half a dozen people wanting to camp so we put them in a field next to the show field and charge £10 per night per caravan, tent or motor home with access available from 2pm on Saturday afternoon. The toilets are the normal show toilets and we have no electricity in this field. In reality Blenheim is two, one day shows with 99% of the people being different from day one to day two. The classic car enthusiasts simply want to travel from home for the day and leave around 4pm so in general there really is no need to make much provision for camping.

The event is actually excellent but the lack of structured camping is simply us responding to the needs of the market at which the show is mainly aimed. Hope you understand and if you wish to go to a more organised campsite near to Blenheim I would quite understand.

Andrew
