Mine has PIONEER TS-F1275.

Were these the standard fit around 1993 ?

Either way, looks like a need a replacement or change both to a newer variety, and the interwebthingy has not helped so far in providing options.

Suggestions/thoughts please.

My S1, Austin, has a speaker fitted in each door, and I once activated them when we were stuck in a traffic jam on the M62, by playing a Dire Straits cassette.
music We don't need no microwave ovens.
I disagreed with them, because it was quite a long delay, and a hot snack would have been most welcome.

At all other times I have only ever heard the lovely sounds from the stainless steel sports exhaust. ears Well, what's left of it after all the potholes & speed humps around here.

I have no idea on the make, type, size or specification of those speakers.

HTH. smile

PS There's a forum somewhere for that kind of tekkie stuff

I couldn't get any direct replacement same size 12cm speakers when I had to change mine recently. Seems you can only get 10cm, 13 cm or larger these days. I went for 10cm as I didn't want to increase the size of the aperture in the door. The fit is fine in my door cards, although you can still the mark from the original speakers, but that will fade over time I hope. I chose the Pioneer TS-G1023i speakers.

Until recently I had these in my V8S:

Fitted perfectly. I've since upgraded. If you fancy buying these just drop me a line.

I changed mine last year, mainly because one was broken so lookea bit nasty!
I don't know where TVR got them from, but the only place I could find that sold that size was in the USA!!!!

So I opted for the slightly smaller ones which are fine.

Like Glenrobbo, I rarely switch the wireless on anyway, unless I am stuck in a town traffic jam.

Yes I have only used the CD/Radio I think twice ...once when got the car, to see that it worked, and once on a wet slow traffic day back from Wales many years ago.

The car will be for sale soon so not looking to spend much out on it really....just be working and look presentable.

Mohitos.....I will check dimensions and contact you shortly....in the meantime if you would like to think numbers, let me know....oh and I work in London during the week and home is Bristol if that helps with logistics.
