To all my virtual internet friends that became a reality - we had a really excellent time as S Tour Virgins. From the nerves of clacket lane and never having met anyone, to feeling like we'd both made some really good friends and known them for ages by the end of the trip. You are all such really friendly welcoming people. Special thanks to Mike and Joe for helping finally resolve my electrical woes - to Tim for breaking into my car and ultimately getting it started again in proper "deliverance country" - we were both extremely grateful when you saw us and pulled in. To Stuart and Karen for providing a lifetime memory of being absolutely decimated on the autobahn when we were doing about 122-125mph - jeez that was fast guys. Chris (The Mee) for being my pace man over many many miles and for being my fuel gauge. Mad Max - what can I say... Julie and my relationship were taken to the brink trying to keep up - You proved my limits of white knuckle riding are some way short of your skills (Next year i'm not taking the wooden steering wheel!!) Alan and Angie - I thought us having a fridge in the car was unique, until I saw you cooking up a broth in the S :Smokin: - hope you fix that bonnet - stay chilled..... We loved it, and Longers - I had a confession from Julie as we were leaving the boat - she was a bit tearful leaving you all and said she would do it all again. So many memories, crammed into so little time - stunning.
