Simple solution for a split gearstick gaiter

You'll need a freelander mk1 rubber gear gaiter, a flap of rubber (I used an off cut of inner tube), rubber glue, some duct tape, a knife and a pop riveter with rivets.

I tried fitting it the right way up and it was almost there. I trimmed some bits and it kind of worked.

Then a light bulb moment. Turn it up side down. Boom. Fits great. Gear lever not obstructed. Best of all a goog supply of the part.

I've ordered a second gaiter as I had trimmed bits that don't need to be trimmed. I'll try and refit before S-Club and post up photos.
