Nylon door bushes,where from
Discussion
Hi all, does anyone know where to get these little blighters from for the S3? After stripping the door down and inspecting all the internal brackets and the bright light into the door gaps, the general concensus is that the bushes are knacked.I'm sure it will be an ar$e of a job,but the door isn't going to get any better jumping in Dukes of Hazard style!!!!
Also, was the ability of the factory to buy the cheapest steel also a cost saver as they then didnt need to buy split washers or nylocs,as have just spent 3 hrs swearing at the bonnet hinge into submission. Now after I buy 'zinc coated' bolts,I can line up the bonnet straight.

Having spent a number of hours fighting with mine only to change from a dropped door which worked to one which grinds (captive nuts now spinning in the fibreglass) I would firstly recommend trying to adjust out the play, if not get in touch with LeeBee, I have heard a rumour he can do them.
Unfortunately he is a little too far away for me but shouldn't be too bad for you.
ANYONE - What is the best way of ripping mine out of the housing or shall I put up with the grinding?

Steve,I undid the four bolts that undo the hinge plates and they all did up again.Don't think that adjusting is going to make enough change to the fit. Will try and get some bushes first and see if enthusiasm and mates available to help all go together.LeeBee maybe the next option as I'm only 20 miles away from him
