Stratford Festival of Motoring, just under 2 weeks to go

Just thought I would remind those who may be interested and see who is planning to be here May 4 & 5 ..
Not aware how many places left to fill, Info packs should be arriving soon for those who have booked.
Sounds like a bigger event after the success last year, 2 runs and several town centre road closures to enable more on street display parking for entrants. Just hope the weather is as good this time.

Yes, but it seemed to take ages to get into the town centre from there.....

My Information all arrived today - I'm number 175. Sadly we seem to be going down fish hill rather than up this year..

I am number 174 (but really a free man) so maybe we will all be parked together on Sheep Street. Looks like you go down Fish Hill and then back up on the test hills run so no problem.

The info pack is just as good as last year, hope the traffic arrangements are improved.

If the weather us decent, I'm heading down to the Cottage of Content on Fri afternoon, I've booked 3 nights, so I'll make the most of them if possible.

Im no171, parking in Sheep Street and being odd, for me its the Treasure Hunt on last years Test Hill route and the Blossom Trail Monday, weather forecast seems to be dry but not so warm as last year.. Really looking forward to seeing you guys. Sounds like they are gonna TRY to stagger the run starts, and with road closures and more marshalls we should be able to get to our display areas easier...!
My son will be navigator for Sunday, he did an excellent job last year, so if you wanna stick with us Glen you are most welcome. With new adjustable shocks and a handmade SS exhaust I have more ground clearance this year so less sparks hopefully.

Well that will be nice to see, you've got a little further to come than me, just 8 miles for me.......and I can be home for tea and my own bed too.

See you at the weekend, hopefully, got the rockers off the Chim for a bit of a paint up and hoping no issues when they go back on.

Hi Guys,, Local weather report here. Gonna be chilly tonight, with a frost, Glen, wrap up warm in your tent with a few tots of best whiskey, out at the Cottage. Rest of weekend and into Monday dry with some cloud but some sunny intervals, so it should be good for some topless fun..

Colin, will be good to see you and your recent purchase, profile says lookin for a good S, but you appear to have a very nice one, from a recent post. Is that Mica Blue ? with very shiney wheels.
