Dave M took me out for a couple of hours in his Cerbera yesterday so we could check out some different routes. No need for a rev limiter - I came to realise that we were going "quickly" when the wipers started to lift from the windscreen

Just as well when the wipers won't stay down. Odd really as we were merely testing the roads within speed limits.

I find Rainex is good at normal speeds, wipers are ok for the slower speeds in towns & when parking & suchlike.
If it's absolutely pouring, you have to wipe the rain off the inside of the screen with a demister pad or squeegee or towel or hanky or whatever comes to hand, otherwise things get a bit blurry.
Especially if you're wearing glasses.
