Guess the price time

ok, before I have a heart attack speaking with David Batty, does anyone want to hazard a guess as to the price oh an independant dealer to:-

service the S3
waxoil her
replace shocks & springs (with nothing fancy but good enough!)

is this second mortgage time as its my first experience with work on the Tiv

I would reckon £300 for the service, £600 for the springs/shocks inlcuding fitting (assuming you go for Leda's or somthing else reasonably priced) and maybe 2-3 hours labour for the waxoil.

So maybe about 12-1300 all in?

I'd recon on about £160 for a minor service and £300 -350 for a major one for the V6 with DB.
Shocks and springs £100-150 per corner for the 'basic' ones.
About £85-140 for a waxoil'ng.
So thats about £1k ish, you've got to remember that shocks and springs are not every day item's. The waxoil you could do yourself for £30, so that then leaves the service at £160 - 350 from DB which you will not get cheaper or better.
Keep smiling you shouldn't have such expensive holidays .

Big can of Waxoil is £17 and more than likely half will be protecting my garage floor after I've put it on!!!
