Hi All
Just done a bit of cleaning at in the shed and found the Essex 3.0 to type 9 5 speed gearbox. this also fits the Sierra 4 X 4 gearbox (if you want to do a bit of modding I have the front sump and diff)

Hi Alan, I could be interested in that.

Have a spare type 9 and a Taimar with an Essex V6 !

Perhaps you could pm me with a price (not polite to discuss these things in public) smile

No, I'm trying to spend some!

Just extending my options, T5 is possibly a little OTT for a mildy tuned Essex, thinking of standardising gearbox's across my fleet wink

Hi Phillpot
You need a bit of tuning, I still have my Essex,3.1 V6 turbo. It has 4 barrel top mounted 4 throttle body with 8 injectors, Ms3 ecu, 5:1 roller rockers with stud girdles Porsche 911 turbo exhaust sodium filled valves and a full dry sump + a few other mods . All bolted to a 911 gearbox. The block crank and heads came from Neil Brown, rods are Cunningham with Cp pistons and one big Roto Master turbo, Box is sold but will keep the engine
