Hi Joe
I will try if I can't
get one but it needs to be very strong to hold the strap with me sitting on it

Don't think that is standard strapping as all the seats I've seen have used a metal wire criss crossing back and forth under the seat swab. But then again STANDARD and TVR aren't words often used together

When I get back home I will have a look in my box of bits. I dissmantled both front seats to get the covering off to patch up my parcelshelf, many springs and bits of wire were amongst them. Will let you know monday if that helps.

Looking at the front part of your seat I reckon there should be one continuous length of wire bent to fit into the loops on the webbing; this is then secured to the frame rails somehow. It shouldn’t be too difficult to make up another one if you can get some thick wire. This is very similar to how furniture is upholstered so maybe your local upholsterer could supply some?

Sorry for delay, sadly nothing in the box like that, mostly springs and hoops of wire. Mine was all rusted away like has been mentioned on here a circuit of wire looped round the edge supporting a mesh held by springs.

I was gonna try to be helpful by saying mine had old stickers on the frame and odd bits of paper, stuffed inside, seemingly they were built by Callow and Maddox of Coventry. Now I learn the company went bust 4 years ago. Rumours are Rimmer Bros bought up the odds and ends, but what that includes I have no idea.
