S2 tyre pressures ?

Dear all,
Help please.
My tyre pressures are a little low.
However my copy of the Bible has been tidied up by Mrs Clifford under some big box's !
First thing tomorrow I need to pop to the garage and check my pressures.
Gone blank on what the bible says and can't find the info in search.
Any response gratefully received before bedtime !

I can't recall what the recommended figures are but I've used both of the following configurations:
i) Front - 20psi & Rear - 22psi
ii) Front - 22psi & Rear - 24psi

Mr Heath confirms the tye pressures should be

22 psi front
24 psi rear
60 psi for spacesaver tyre

Trust this helps you sleep more easily (I have hidden my Bible in between the 'world atlas' and Long Walks Bavaria - it will never be found !)

Morning all,

just dug out the owners handbook from the car which recommends 22 psi front & back, spare 60 psi. It also says:"For high speed running the tyre pressure should be incresed by 2-4 psi all round".
Hope this of use.

Most of my driving seems to be on dual carriage way these days so happy to pump them up a bit.

Bit late responding to your question but I run mine at 100 front and 110 rear, perhaps a bit softer in the winter when it's more slippery. Oh, hang on, that's bike I run the S on 24 all round as I was told to by our mutual acquaintance Mr Guglielmi.

Perhaps this was around the time ( 1988? 1990? ) when Tiff was still smarting from driving one of the LM Jags TOO quickly in the endurance race at Brands & beached it in the kitty litter at the outside of Clark Curve.

Shame that, he was doing so well against the Mercs.
If I recall correctly one of these was shared by 3 promising young German drivers, including a certain M. Schumacher.
It was a scorching hot day, on and off the track.

Sorry for the confusion- many years ago (I would guess between 1996-2000) a Mr Guglielmi (Steve?) raced Tuscans and in the particular race that was featured on TGMS, kept ahead of Tiff & Colin Blower also if memory serves. Of course it is entirely likely that my fading memory is playing tricks on me & it is a completely different person all together.
