the planning goes on for the strip down in the winter and was considering changing the bushes to poly ones.i know how good these are for handling purposes but don't know about the ride quality.the question is will they make my s3 uncomfortable to drive on what passes for roads in my area or is the ride quality good?or even is any loss of comfort out-weighed by the benefits of better handling?
thanks,kev

The bushes only play a small part in ride quality as it is down to several factors, not least the springs and dampers.

What I found when I fitted them to mine..(all suspension + ARB mounts) is that it felt that the car was more positive in terms of turn in and felt the whole lot was working together rather than one area letting the car down. It is difficult to describe as you can see.

It did effect the ride qulaity, but at the same time I had upgraded the springs so I would be lying if I told you I could give you an objective view.

I would seriously consider dropping Mickeypee an email to ask him about the Nylotron bushes he has just got for his.

The best thing is you fit and forget about them, as they should way outlast the standard items.
