Hi guys,

Glad to see you are all still here all the old menmbers and now some new members added experiancing the delights of s ownership. I left the forum about 3 years ago and my project went on hold due to the purchase of my new hobby dare i say it .................................Caravanning!!!!!!!!

I know what your thinking what a plonker! but my first born arrived and that was the end of my TVR dream. Glad to see all the old members tinkering on.

As i've explained i've been out of touch for a while and even forgot my log in details, therefor i,ve had to re apply as a new member beasleyneil1 (old beasleyneil)

My car is and has been for some time 95% restored and am now looking to depart with her after having extream pressure from her in doors.

Ive lost touch as i say and lost touch with current prices.

What are they going for these days?

The car is more or less ready to go exhaust, seat and seatbelt fittment to install and thats it.

She will need an MOT but i'm pretty confident

Cant upload photos at the moment due to working on the works laptop but will get you phots later.Pictures probably still posted from old threads?

Best regards as always

Neil

Hi Neil, I'm not one for guessing at values (what model, how extensive was rebuild etc. etc.) but with so little left to do I reckon a complete and MOT'd car that a prospective buyer could properly test drive would be worth a fair bit more?

As it stands I'll give yer 2k wink

They've polished up nicely, didn't we swap for grey leather seats and door cards? They've done a few miles now and been a few places, still using them smile

Looks a nice car - someone will be lucky. The non standard indicators might wipe a grand off the price biggrin

Hi Neil

(And 'Hi' to the rest of the forum, couldn't find an introductions thread)

Sorry(ish) to hear that your thinking of selling your S, but I have been looking for an S that has been cared for and now in need a new home for a while

If you do decide (or are forced to decide) to part with her, let me know and I'll come and have a look see, assuming your not toooo far away. I'm in Coventry btw

I'm in exactly the same position e-mail wise. Drop me an email with some details tomorrow, or I'll send you one when our respective probation periods expire, and we'll try and sort something out.

Misty is now sold, thanks to Marc C who made the selling process less difficult to cope with. It was very sad to see her go but at least i know that Marc will enjoy and look after her.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank everybody on the forum who has provided invaluable advise over the years . Please look after Marc who will no doubt posting on the forum in the future. He tells me he will need advise on the electrics i'm sure the forum can help him out there.

There ends my Tvr experience for now who knows i may be back when my caravanning days are over. Your never too old for a blast!

Thanks guys and welcome Marc with open arms!
