A simple gearbox fluid change has turned into an outrigger repair job. The front offside outrigger has rusted through not 4 months after its MOT. Interestingly there's a hairline crack on the other side bit it's not particularly rusty.
The rest of the chassis is in good order.
I have a garage who can do the work as they're experienced with Westfield and other kit cars, although they've never done a TVR before.
I've had a look through the tvrgit.com guide and will give them that as a reference. - what a great guide.

Are there any snagging points/hidden secrets to look out for?

Many thanks, from a somewhat more impoverished S3 owner.

Just double check you have undone all the body mounting bolts, there is a sneaky extra pair by the seat belt deals and you may have a pair in the transmission tunnel, I found it easier to disconnect the brake master cylinder than have lift height restricted by brake lines.

Similar to me, got underneath to remove Propshaft and to change gearbox mount ended up repairing near side outrigger tubing also centre tube under the sump, did it without lifting the body.
