Side repeaters
Discussion
I can only find really cheap looking replacements when I search for Mk2 Fiesta:

Do you think these would fit?

They seem to look more like the originals.

Quick search found these too:

Luckily I have a spare set of brand news ones in case mine ever break;-)

Did you have to enlarge the hole in the body to fit those side repeaters?
I made mine by chopping up some Mondeo ones and fitting the lens to the back of an original (Mk 4 Escort) socket.

The description on the tail lights says “Clip is broken on one side that holds the bulbs on but still useable” (spelling corrected!). Don’t count on it! I bought a pair like that and once that side clip goes it won’t clamp the bulb holder in place.

Just thought I would share a comment I heard. An MOT tester had failed a car ( not TVR ) that had smoked rear light fittings, saying not bright enough light was emitted. This was actually a standard fitting, but the owner had to go through an appeal to overturn the decision.
Not aware of this being new legislation or a random "jobs worth " event.

Direct fit Joe - no hacking but mine may not be exactly the same as the advert (bought mine a couple of years ago now)I made mine by chopping up some Mondeo ones and fitting the lens to the back of an original (Mk 4 Escort) socket.

Had a slight issue with my smoked front indicators, perhaps a little dim, but Adrian Venn who had organised the MOT while he was doing other work, just pointed to the 'E' markings and the tester said OK.Not aware of this being new legislation or a random "jobs worth " event.
Ho Hum

And this is why I don't attempt things myself...
Removed the old side repeaters with my trim removal tools but in both sides the cables are so short that they have disappeared into the wings and I cannot retrieve them.
The car is going to Bespoke Performance on Monday to have geo, ride height and a suspected misfire sorted. Should i leave this to the experts or is there an easy way to access the inner wings ?

The cables should be loose in the footwell.
Unless the layout is different because of the longer doors, the repeaters should be midway between the door hinge and the wheel arch.
Have a look high up inside the footwell, they are visible from the inside on an S2.
Hope this helps
AFAICR easily accessible on S1 & S2, but behind an inner panel on later cars.Unless the layout is different because of the longer doors, the repeaters should be midway between the door hinge and the wheel arch.
