I remember reading a year or so ago that the fuel filler is a bu99er if you don't do it in the correct order - unfortunately I can't remember how it is supposed to go together

Help

Mick, I`ve just fitted mine about a week ago and it`s a fiddley job. I put the filler tube into the tank end first, it already had the top rubber sleeve on but no jubilee clips yet. I then inserted the filler cap and spacer and rubber gasket, then I put in the 4 bolts that holt the cap, then tighten them, access is poor for that. Now put the breather/overflow pipe on and fit all jubilee clips. Top tip, put a smear of vaseline inside of the rubber sleeves, it makes it easier to slide in the pipes, it worked for me wink
