Is there a thread on the above - couldn't find one. Just wondered if there were any hidden traps as I'm about to change mine. Does the fuel tank empty itself all over you for example. Also are the washers standard copper types or funny TVR ones? While I'm at it anyone use a particular spark plug brand? Car is running fine with current ones so I'll probably just stick with the same type.

I agree changed my fuel filter 'just because 'and cut the old one open expecting it to be full of rust and sludge and muck... Clear as a bell ! Keep the new filter and change it if it starts running badly
