Battery.....how big and where???? topic removed = WHY

Don't know why but the mods removed my original listing!!


I need to buy a battery for the S, never came with one as bought as write off with nothing under the bonnet (no bonnet too!!)

I'm putting the battery in the boot which I'm sure others have done - can some-one point me in the direction of choosing the correct size battery.

Have a recollection the V8S had the battery in the boot...

Just make sure you can get into the boot if the battery / solenoid fails.

I think some of the Chimera / Griff boys have gone for the Optima Red or Yellow top range, IIRC they are smaller than traditional designs and may suit your race car..? Not exactly cheep though.. Its not in the boot but I have a Bosch on mine..

I see body going on soon.. how long to MOT do you think.?

Mine is fitted with a Halfords HF069.
