Quick one!

How on earth do you get the handle off? I've removed the grub screws, but the beggar absolutely will not move. It's not original, may or may not be Leven, but I need to get it off to replace the gaiter. I want to avoid damaging it.

Cheers,

Matt

Ok glad I'm not the only one who had this problem. Compleatly remove the bolt in the pinch clamp from inside the transmission tunnel. Under the garter inside the cab there is another bolt remove this and do not lose the spacer. Spray the pinch clamp with releasing fluid . Pull and leaver from inside the cab you may have to splay the pinch clamp slightly with a screwdriver its splined so don't try and twist

Oh b*gger. Me and spanners = potential disaster. No wonder the gaiter's looking so grubby!

Oh well, no excuse not to get outside and sort it.

Cheers.

Could not get the handle to move at all, so used my noggin for once. Got the better half to unstitch the gaiter, put it on, and then sewed it up again. Nice!
