S3 handbook/owners manual
Discussion
Hi all,
Please excuse my ignorance but I assume these cars were supplied new with some kind of owners handbook (that should live in the pouch beneath the ecu/fuse panel I guess), mine is missing.
I have a good history file with the car inc all MOTs from new but sadly the handbook (and therefore I guess service stamps) had been lost/destroyed during a previous owners unpleasant divorce I believe.
Are they available at all, or does anybody have a spare one they would be willing to sell?
Cheers
Gregg
P.S. now nearly a week into S ownership and still smiling!

Hi, welcome to the world of TVR. These hand books are rare I belive, one did come up for sale on Ebay a while ago and went for silly money. How many S owners do still have the original handbook?
I have mine, soon be 26 years oldI believe it's a first edition

But it has seen better days, and some wet ones as well, from the look of it.

I have an original S3 handbook in reasonable condition. I have been thinking about scanning the pages and letting other owners have a copy or access to the files. It won't happen for a few weeks though as I'm not going to take a scanner to the Alps!
How many weeks Tony? Are you staying on to bag a few peaks, or are you hoping to delve deeply into the lore surrounding the Sherlock Holmes / Moriarty mystery?
Either way, don't forget your crampons!
Most of us are booked on the homeward ferry next Wednesday

It's a very kind offer by the way, I wonder if the TVRCC would be interested in obtaining a file of your scanned handbook to make available to other members.

I am staying an extra day in France, returning on Thursday and then going to Goodwood on the Friday. Some other things to attend to when I return home so I thought it better to under promise. If anyone at TVRCC wants to be 'Keeper of the Scans' I would be more than happy. Maybe they have a pristine copy in their archives?
I found my S2 pdf version..
