Thanks Max, yes following my Tiv restoration it does spoil you a bit so you look at everything.
She's a Californian import 2008( great body, v important ) then after driving for a couple of years then a 3 year resto to a very high standard. The guy who was from Cannock
Really took time and did things properly. Fair play to him.
Us to enjoy now.

Simon, that looks like brand new. Absolutely stunning.
I love the opening windscreens. Are you sure that pic was taken recently, & not in '66 ?
Have you got the surfboards yet?
Also noticed the wheels are the same as gifdy's Karmann Ghia.
By coincidence, when I took my wife's Yaris for MOT the other day, they had just tested a newly restored Karmann Ghia in pale yellow, looked very nice, just a few jobs to finish.

ETA. Don't forget to put some number plates on it. ( TVR 66D ? )

Plates good. JUX 166D. So a 66 in there anyway by luck.
Wheels are Fuch originals, that's good apparently, Kenny
Will know more on this I'm sure, I'm still doing the knowledge.

I've been looking for a while to find something close to the right one.
Very rare to get one with most of what we'd like.
But this one hits 99%
Needs a few touches to get to full 66 camping spec
But plenty of time and shows to help with that.
I love your Karmann. Looks great. Ill have to give the show a look up

The show is 21st July. I've got a 'mini triathlon' event in the morning but will be going down in the afternoon. Unfortunately not in the KG as it's off the road. I've decided to take it back to orginal spec and redo some of the crappy restoration work that the poor thing was subjected to. I'll be going in the S and the family is going down in Uncle Norman's Borgward Isabella.
There's a mix of old & new at the show - I like the variety but some of the modern cars are not to everyone's taste. I reckon your camper will have a chance at 'Best in Show'. The Borgward got into the last 10 last year but missed out to a lovely Merc covertible. You get a free entry to the museum as well.

Hate to think what my mid life crisis is going to be like. But something ruinous will almost definitely arrive on the drive.
As everyones showing their German metal thought I'd show my other car too, its possibly more ruinous than the V8s too! TVR's and 8 Series are always mentioned in the "I would love to but fear for my wallet/sanity too much threads," what have I done getting both!
Have always wanted to head down to the Beaulieu Museum, the German car show should be a good day out/good excuse if I'm free that day. Car should be looking good by then as its in the bodyshop next month having some blemishes and rust sorted out. I'll never be perfect though as its got the hard end of the stick with daily duties constituting of the M25.
