Evening all,

Here's an idea I've taken from a Porsche 968 forum I'm a member of. The idea is to chart the location of S's all over the UK and beyond.

The locations may not be exact for security reasons but will give a good idea of how many S's there are in your rough area, which can be helpful if you're trying to organise a meet.

If you choose a pin in the colour of your car it's also quite handy:

Password: tvrsseries

https://www.zeemaps.com/map?group=570801

ETA CLEAR INSTRUCTIONS BY NICECUPOFTEA:

"Click "map access" top right, type "tvrsseries" and click unlock. Then click "additions" and go to "add marker - detailed" and add your user name in the top box, and town/county. You don't need address or postcode fields and I would leave them blank for security personally. Don't forget to choose the colour of your pin! Then click "preview" to check and "submit" when you are happy!"

Hope you like the idea (and that it works!)

Ok, this might not be the "home counties" but rough is a bit harsh smile

ETA, well not exactly, I seem to have put my car type where perhaps I should have put PH nickname ?

E again TA, Name sorted, and street/postcode removed

Phillpot, you had two entries, so I've removed one.

And I've also removed my road name and post code!

This seems to be going down a treat - up to 8 entries and its not even 830am!

Ah, is this one of those 'woke up and drove to Morocco' threads? ;-)

Added but could you edit my post code out please. I've managed to locate the pin at the nearest big town rather than my village, but somehow thought I needed the post code to complete the upload.

Cheers.

Steve, it was for me too to start with. I dropped my mail address in and then clicked register and hey presto, the map appeared.
