Alloy rocker covers

Might fit one or the other but don't think they'll fit 2.8 and 2.9 (different gaskets listed for each engine) ?


ETA... looking at the picture again there looks to be an "un-drilled" hole under the F of Ford ? perhaps they'd fit a 2.9 if that was drilled out

Not sure, but wont the alternator need a corner recess out of the one end of one of them?

Its possible to modify the alternator bracket rather than mess up the rocker covers


There is a guy selling R/Cs for Essex V6 and the 2.8 on Ebay, says he's hoping to have some available for 2.9 soon (but not cheap)!

Not sure I would go for alloy any more, bugger to polish and then look after. I was lucky to pick up a chromed pair (with a good engine for only a little more than this guy is asking!) otherwise I would have had powder coated in 'bright aluminium', as I did for the wheels and they are so much less trouble now.More time for and
