Window Unjammed, thanks!
Discussion
Sorted out my window yesterday night. Again duff connection on the connection block inside the door. Took it off, put a meter on it, put it back and presto!
-only thing now is it's a bit slow and jams slightly at the bottom of travel, any ideas? -frame looks straight though.... tired motor possibly?

Know the thread also, but can't find it. I found another problem with the window. The central part of the mechanism, presumably some sort of rack the worm from the motor attaches to?, was hanging in free space and causing the jamming. Spent 15 minutes searching the house for a correct size bolt to re-attach it to the inner door skin, only to later discover the original in the bottom of the door.
Anyhow, it's now fixed, still a bit slow, but no jamming. Used the trusty WD40 for lube purposes!, none of this fancy new-fangled silicon stuff
