front fog lights faulty

hi all again,

one other problem i have with my V8S is that since i bought the car last summer, the front fog lights don't work. The wiring diagram i have seen for this vehicle did not show the circuitry for these.

Could anyone advise to, i would imagine, the specification of the relays that are fitted and where they are located please?

I have checked the bulbs and they are ok.

The relays and fuses are behind the glove box. Pull down the carpet and the fuse box, ECU and related wiring will fall into the foot well (the fun comes later when you try to put it all back). The fog lights/driving lights only come on with the headlights on full beam so try this first before you go pulling things apart. If there is a problem it’s most likely the connectors either side of the rad, near the hinges - they are cr*p.

thanks for that, will check connectors around the hinge first. yes, i had already checked the correct switching for front fog lights, and they still don't work.

do you know which relay and its spec. for the front fogs?

Have you tried operating them with the headlights on main beam? Most that I am aware of are driving lights not fog lights, therefore will only operate on main beam.

On my V8S they operate in this fashion.
