What plugs into here?

Still reconnecting wiring, I have found this connector in drivers side near steering column, can't remember what plugs into it, if anything. ?????

White/yellow to white on rev counter, white to red on rev counter, black to black.

I would think the plug will only go together one way?

I guess you are doing all of this without a wiring diagram? There is one on the web, I'll see if I can find a link.

Well it is very similar

Yep, it is the tacho wiring block, and is essential for the ignition to work (at least on the S1). That assumes you havent had your tacho restored! If it has been restored it will (should!) have a wiring diagram stuck on the tacho and some changes are necessary.

Thanks, job done, it was tachometer wiring, explains why it would only fire up on cranking!
