Do new HT Leads improve performance
Discussion
Hi Folks
Simple question, my S2 has been running for some years on its current HT leads, cap & rotor arm yet i read many posts suggesting there only good for 2 years.
Should i follow the 'if it aint broke dont try to fix it' rule or would performance deteriorate over a period of years.
The car runs fine at the moment so is there any point in buying new ones ?
Thanks
Giles

Depends how many miles you've done on them... I'd probably change them as a matter of course if they are several years old as I guarantee you wouldn't notice a very slow deterioration of performance, but you would notice its restoration all in one go
