Me trying to give computer lessons !!!!!

Lets go for one of the PH classifieds,

1. on the page you want to link to there is a line of writing near the top that starts with a little picture of a page with the corner turned over and then www.pistonheads.com............. Left click on that line and it will turn Blue.

2. Right click on the blue bit and a box appears, Left click on "Copy". Return to the post you want to add it to.

3. type clicky (or any words you want, nice car here or whatever),then you need a vertical line, it's shift and the key left of z on my keyboard |

4. Press Right key and box appears again, Left click on "Paste", lots of writing will appear! at the end of the writing type .

5. Preview post to see if its worked smile

nice car here| http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/t... [/url

I've left the last square bracket off so you can see what you should have, add that bracket and you get this...

nice car here

Those who are a bit more proficient with computers tham me (about 99.5% of you) may well know an easier quicker better way but this works for a numpty like me and will hopefully help one or two others who are amazed by my mastering of modern technology type

No, it was just an example smile If I didn't have one I could be tempted but too much effort gone into mine to consider selling and if I had room for a third "hobby car" it would be made of fibreglass, on a steel chassis, Ford engine but it wouldn't be a TVR eek

Not exactly a lot of them around so finding one could take a while, this one is for sale but is too good (and therefore a bit more than I'd like to pay), I'd ideally like one that is in need of a little "refreshing" wink

Nice looking Turner Mike. At least you'd be staying British & fairly close to home as well...

OMG, a primrose Turner. Never seen one in that colour before. Beautiful.

Now then, how do I right & left click on my phone, & what is all this about pasting & stuff? Sorry Mike, but you lost me.confused

I had a 20min computer lesson once, it was like this:
"Dee dah dee dah dee dah, dee doo dee doo dee doo, click on this, scroll to that, press return & that's how you do it. yikes
I felt like I now knew how to play the piano.
But I couldn't.
I feel I should buy a computer, but to be honest I wouldn't have a clue which one to get, & if I did I wouldn't even know how to begin to use it. I am sure I am nor alone in this world of numptyness.

Or am I?

This is a (very tempting) Marcos ...scratchchin

Used to go and watch "Club" motor racing with my big brother when I was in my teens and there would often be a Turner or two giving the Sprites and Midgets a run for their money in the small capacity "Mod Sports" class................. happy days !

Hi All.
Had a Marcos 3.0L back in the 80's (good times were had), bright red with a Essex turbo engine on Fuel injection, was like a Moggy with mustard on its ass, still have the engine sat in the shed, been thinking what to do with it.
It was like a psychopathic skitso you never knew what it would if you hit the gas
