S3C running question

Once warm my decatted S3C has some hesitation when accelerating through the 1500 to 2000 rpm zone. No problems when warming up or in any other rev range.

I've checked the throttle pot, replaced the coil, have checked the leads and have good new plugs. A plug swap shows it may be running a bit lean (although this may be how it was supposed to run with the cats).

Do they all do this? Or what should I check next? Is the fuel mixture adjustable?

Mine does something similar.

I vaguely recall posting on here not long after I got it and the answer was "they all do that sir!".

Anyway, I've changed air filter, plugs, HT leads, dizzy cap etc. Recently fitted a new throttle pot. It's better than it was but it's still not quite right.

So, if anyone has the answer I'd love to hear it too!

Mine had a terrible hesitation so borrowed the Star tester of a S owner on here and after doing the "waggle test" the prblem turned out to be corrosion inside both the push on connectors on thr AFM.
