breakdown in Cardiff

On the scrounge for urgent help. As my S2 won't start.


I suspect the distributor cap as sparks bouncing across the top of the cap. Car turns over fine but won't fire into life.

Anyone in Cardiff with a spare????? Otherwise its recovery truck home.

Hi Andrew, I`m in St Athan, I don`t have a spare dizzy cap, so can`t be much help there. Have you tried taking it off, drying it and spray WD 40 on it, if you have any to hand. I suspect water ingress with all of the wet weather we`ve had, hope you get it going.

Thanks Steve. Have taken the cap off it doesn't appear to be damp or cracked. Unfortunately I dont have any wd40 on me.

Doesnt matter now as the recovery truck is on its way. First time that I will have had the tvr on a recovery truck.
