Jus got the car back and the idling issue has been resolved at last after getting it onto the rolling road and checking it over thoroughly...

As per normal there was a fault with the Pot and it wasn't showing on the code reader, it was running too weak at cruise (upto 60 mph) and the timing was a smidgen out. All of this combined seemed to make the ECU loose the plot completely and give me the issues I have had...

Mark at Tower View was stunned as we have spent hours trying to resolve this issue and had already replaced one Pot with no effect. The whole car had been reset and still it was wrong.

I like my car again and as you can see from the rolling road figures (Power Engineering) it is flying. Managed now to get the fuelling right and look at the torque figure !!!!!!

I know I know that this may differ from another road etc etc etc But it is seriously flying again and runs perfectly. Well chuffed.

The new exhaust is on and it is a nice sound but it isn't anywhere near the old one. Its going to a good home though !!

Chuffed, Cheers,

Mark

That torque is a lot higher than I'd expect, sounds like you got a good 'un there!

See you at Zolder!

Excellent figures Johno, how much silver had to pass hands for the rolling tune? and was it carried out at Tower View? I feel that mine would benefit from the treatment, as I've recently had a service and although it passed all of the checks/tests but I'm sure that it 'needs' to optimised.
Any comment from Peter also would be welcome on this, as he's a been there done that V8S kind of man
