Hi

Done some searching for trim refurbishment places on here but hard to tell exactly where in country the various places are. Anyone recommend a place in North West region? I'm based in Manchester. Just looking at sorting out the interior fabric around the rear screen for a start.

Thanks

Rob

Not many of us in the North West Rob, as far as I can tell from posts on here.

I guess it depends how far you want to travel. I have heard good reports about a place in Knowsley, but not too close to Manchester.

Haven't tried them myself yet, but planning to get my rear window replaced by them before next summer.

If you are interested, shouldn't be too difficult to find on web.

Sorry, not a TVR man, but I do know there is a trimmer on the industrial estate behind Sainsbury in Denton. http://www.autotrimnorthwest.co.uk/

I have no experience of them, but you might want to check them out as they're local.

Cheers for the ideas all. I'll get some quotes of the guys mentioned. Seems they're all good quality so it'll come down to price I guess. It'll start as a hood interior and finish without realising it'll end up a full upholstery refurb. One for the Xmas fund....

You might also want to try Preston Car Trim. Mention that you have been referred by Richard with the green TVR and the orange Porsche! Roy has done great work for me and for friends, reasonable too. Likes to see the job, discuss options with you, estimate the time it will take, then give you a firm diary date to do the work.

I would recommend John at 'The Trim Technician' in Blackpool.

They re-trimmed my SEAC earlier in the year and did a brilliant job.

Go and visit them, have a good look at the standard of their sewing (which is what lets most jobs down) and you will see the standards they work to.

You can find them at: Unit 14 Wood Street, Poulton Industrial Estate, Poulton-le-fylde, FY6 8JY
