Another stupid question Rubber Gearstick Boots!

Wondered why the gearstick gaiter kept blowing out. Now found rubber boot underneath is split.

Where is this rather inocuous piece of kit from, and are the bolts holding it self tappers, or the nut glued on, or am I gonna have to enlist the help of the wife and go under the car to hold the nuts on??

Ford Sierra, it should be screwed in by self tappers and silicon sealed around the base (otherwise all the leaked oil that sits on the top of the exhaust silencer will get hot and fill the car with acrid fumes!)
