S3c hesitates on acceleration

Hi. The other problem I have with my de-catted s3c is that it seems to hesitate a bit under acceleration. It's the MAP system without air flow meters. I've had the plugs out, cleaned them and set them, the HC on the MOT test was 482 ppm and the CO was 2.1 % last week. Any ideas where to start? Cheers

HT leads made a massive difference to a flat spot at 2k revs on my S3C. I had, of course, changed just about everything else before I did the leads.

I always had that on my S3c when I had it, never seemed to get to the bottom of it though. The CO2 figure seems a bit high to me bearing in mind it was a cat equipped car originally,I would check for any air leaks on the inlet side, a local garage to me has a machine which blows smoke into the plenum chamber and shows up any air leaks, I was amazed at how many I had, having said that after sorting them out it still had that hesitation you speak of Good luck
