Hi

Just rebuilding my S3C, tried to start today but no joy. Checked coil HT lead, no spark..Got 12 volt feed to coil, any ideas would be appreciated.

When you mean a earth to the coil ,do you mean the coil body?

No I suspect he means the switched earth that collapses the field and generates the spark...

I think you need to give a bit more info on what you've done and what tests you've already tried as in isolation there's not a lot of info to go on from this thread.
