LSUK are lucas, and have various outlets....my nearest
was in gillingham, near the high street.... you have to order them and they only come as a pair, with bulbs
. Far less than TVR and exactly the same. Where are you? im in chalk near gravesend. cheers mark, and welcome to the "S" club! mark

Gravesend? I spend most nights in or around Dartford, have you been along to any of the mid Kent meets yet?

Maybe we should all meet up for a blast when the S is up and running again.

Hi Mark, all i'll say for now, is its an S2, i may be a bit paranoid, but i dont want someone steaming in and nicking the sale as its not paid for yet! I want to because i'd like to know if anyone knows any history on it (would the TVRCC give me any info?) but will spill the beans when i get it!!..hopefully friday.

Also, your right about the price, a bit strange they've gone up £8 in a month since you ordered?
The part number i quoted was LDB126...is that right?

You could post the reg number (or part of it) and ask if any pistonheaders have owned it? Hope its as good as it sounds.....mines a corker....and i love it.
You'll have to post a piccy of it on here when you get it. ....yes thats the right part too...strange. Tell em youre mate told you where to get em and at that price, worth a try?

Any good garages/service places you can recommend for our area or trusty experts/mechanics, should i need one?
all help appreciated! The previous owner is a pistonhead and TVRCC member so hopefully the car is cool.

well, first port of call for me was "offical" TVR dealer walldonway for servicing....£600 big ones for a 12 mile service, i think not.........parts dept are good though......i travelled to oxfordshire to get pistonheader "leebee" to do mine...hes a top bloke and does a fantastic job.....can't recommend him enough.
Also fitted a monster of a SS exhaust at the same time...and boy george is it loud! So basically i dont know of anywhere local.......Towerview have a good rep, and they are in london somewhere. Johno goes to them i think? mark

cheers for the info Mark. Is Leebee an independant mechanic then? Sounds fine by me, if he comes recommended and is a better price than dealers, he gets my vote...and custom!
