Can anyone tell me what vehicle the radiator pressure cap on the swirl tank is from. Also the sealing cap on the expansion tank.

Good question!
The damn things just don't seem to fit properly! Anyone tried a 'STANT' cap? I may give 'em a go!

I find that the use of a small peasant stuffed into the swirl tank is ideal.

These can be picked up in most rural areas quite cheaply.

Its one of those days !!

No definitely a peasant ! The problem with using pheasants (so I'm led to believe) is that the feathers soon become jaded and fall away into the cooling system creating a pillow like effect with the engine, without the comfort factor.

Once all the feathers have gone the said pheasant then doesn't fit the swirl tank aperture correctly causing the coolant to blow all over your newly created pillow effected engine and you then end up finding a peasant anyway.

So cut out the use of pheasants and go for the peasant straight away. Far simpler.
