Road Works Near Coventry.

For those of you who know the area around Coventry, there will be major road works at the A45 Coventry airport island as of next year. Bugger!
On the plus side, when done there will be new tunnel running under the island. Can't wait to try it in the TVR. Hope it's a good un.

Used to work on Siskin Drive, right by that island, so they're finally digging an underpass?

Seem to recall a flyover was ruled out as too close to landing aircraft!

That sounds about right. Road works will be on going for about 3 years!
Yes engine all done thanks. Done about 600 miles since re-build so just about ran in now. Popped down to the 3 counties show on Sunday, thought I might see you there but when I arrived it lashed it down so did not stop. 120 mile round trip and the engine went well so not all was wasted.

Didn't get there till about half one, lots of gaps in displays and trade stands, think many had already left?

I thought for a second I'd seen these going on but I think it's another airport where there is also some work going on which might include an underpass somewhere near Cov (or perhaps more toward brumingham).. Brumingham airport appears to also be on the A45?
