New owner for S3

Many of you will know that Chris Chat recently sold his S£ and I'm it's new owner. I won't embarass Chris on here by telling the full story, but suffice to say there can't be many new owners of second hand cars, where the old owner delivers it 150 miles and turns up with an Aladin's cave of useful stuff.

It's hard to believe that for a car built in 1991 I'm only the third owner, and judging by the history that came with the car, I've some standard to live up to to match the care that the previous owners have given it.

Having just had the car a couple of days, I'm still getting familiar, but had wonderful afternoon yesterday on the North Yorks Moors, some great roads up there.

Already have a list of minor jobs, but no real issues to report so very happy so far. I'm looking forward to some help, advice and support on here, sure I'll need some at some point. The intention at this point is just to get to know the car and enjoy the summer (should it arrive) and then start some minor jobs later in the year. Ray

Welcome Ray. You've got a lovely car there. Chris took me around Scotland in it last year after my little "incident" so I know what a little gem it is. Chris is a great bloke and hopefully he'll be back with us once he's done his travelling. You do realise that as you’ve now taken over from Chris you have to carry a full inventory of spares in the boot in case any of us breaks down

This forum is full of great people as you will find out and you have got yourself a really nice S. Its a credit to its former owner.
