I am looking to replace some of the water hoses on my S3C. Does anyone know the parts numbers etc?
The hoses I'm after are the angled, larger diameter approx 1.5 inch) pipes as follows:
1. from swan neck to engine (sort of bent s shape)
2. from water pump (bang next to a cat converter)
3. from radiator (bottom left) to a pipe that runs via a 'u' shaped pipe to the pipe as above (2)
By the way, the pipe from the swan neck has a groove worn into it from the fan belt. There only appears to a few mil clearance. Worth checking.
Any alternatives to the standard parts will be considered.
Thanks for any help.

My car is going to be the donor car for ACTS Performance Products to measure up the silicon hoses to develop a kit, the same as they do for Griffiths and Chimaera's.
I am hoping it will be in the next couple of weeks and as soon as its sorted I'll let you know...
Cheers

I had a groove cut in my top hose...as I piled down the German autobahn, I then lost all the coolant and then lost the engine in a matter of moments so replace it and don't drive it. I had so many problems afterwards.
Got the new hose from Christopher Neils but it was 3 years ago now. apparently they are a bugger to fit so that they don't sag onto the belt. think it was about 15 quid.

By the way, buy your hoses first before you take the old ones off. They are a complete b**ch to remove and then to find out that none of your favourite motor suppliers stock the parts is not exactly what I call good fun. I have the scars to prove it!!
Jason, the car seemed fine on the way home and I let it sit in the drive for a few minutes just to check the fan came and did its 'bit'. Haven't rechecked the water level yet. Will take you up on your offer.
