OK. So if I can't get any original OZ wheels and the bend in mine can't be straightened out (!) what is the panels opinion on the best replacement, or is there someone out there who is a wonderful wheel repairer. The guy who has mine at the moment is doubtful whether it can be straightened. Thanks for any replies.

Sorry to hear that your wheel isnt repairable, it's a shame that they are as rare as hens teeth.

A lot of S owners have fitted Chimaera wheels, and I think they suit the car. Seeing that a lot of Chimaera owners are upgrading their wheels, there should be a few secondhand ones for sale.

And also, if you do replace your car with a new set of Chimraera or other type wheels, you'll then be in the reverse situation where you'll be able to help another S owners when he/she needs to buy one of your other 3 wheels

Cheers,

Dave.

If you do pick up a set of Chim wheels remember that the Chim comes with 15" fronts and 16" rears so if you want to keep 15" all round then you'll have to pick up 2 front sets. If you do fit 16" at the rear and the commensurate 225 profile, I'm not so sure what the clearance would be like for the trailing arms?
Saying that I think Peter H with his beast has 16" Chim wheels all round
BTW IMHO the Chim wheels do suit the car

16" rears will only fit with disc brake trailing arms (ie S4 or V8S) or with Leebee conversion.

I think some Chims had 15" all round, may be wrong here.

The original OZ rims are very rare but can be found so it may be worth looking for one.

Cheers,
JSG.

Sorry to here of your plight. I have 7 S2 Wheels, all of which are for sale as the car is being modified and it is unlikely the standard wheels will fit.Email me if you are interested.
