Chassis refurbishment
Discussion
Hi All,
I'm planning to repaint my chassis this winter and have acquired all the bits to do it. I intend to clean off all the bits and use a metal ready and then POR15 then a finish coat. However, the tubular pipes section of the chassis just below the manifold both sides of the engine, look like they have suffered with the heat and the powder coating is pealing away. The rust is only surface and can be easily remedied. My question is will the heat destroy the POR like it did the powder coating or is there a better way of coating this area??????
Any help will be welcome.
Regards. Tom
