Please can anyone tell me what the CO2 emissions (g/km) are for the V8S. It isn't on the V5 document and I can't find it in the usual search places. -I need it to get a parking permit at work - I get a discount if it is less than 200 g/km !?
Thanks
Giles

The search sucks smile knowing where to find it helped a bit though, from the last time someone asked:

Divide 6760 by the fuel usage in MPG

a quick search suggests 28mpg for an S3 and 20 for a V8 aren't unreasonably inaccurate figures so:

241 CO2s for a V6 and 338 for a V8

You have no hope of it being close to 200, I would just say you don't have the info incase they introduce a graduated scheme at a later date.

I can't believe the CO police have started already.
Just tell them that a car that has lasted for well over 20 years is far more eco- friendly than one which has to be melted down & re-manufactured every 7 years at enormous enviromental & energy sapping cost.
When will they ever learn?
Then park it in the MD's spot to emphasize the point.

Tell them that since TVR didn't specify emissions for the vehicle they should classify it as under the limit on the basis of 'no visible smoke'.

(It's total b*llocks, but since the idea for charging people for producing plant food gas is also total b*llocks I've got no compunction about trying it on.)
