Assuming the correct profile tyres, that S is way to high.

They were notorious for scraping and flattening the exhaust (which runs in the centre of the car, under the chassis rails) when new.

Has it been jacked up? If so it will drop to a more sensible level when it is moved - if not it does look a bit high.

Definately a bit high...........chassis should be approx 140mm from ground if i recall correctly, which makes 5 and 5/8" in old money and about 3 and 1/2" to the exhaust downpipes as they pass under the chassis - ish. This is all memory though as once again PH search is dead.

This is what the right spacing should look like, as said above 150mm to chassis rails from floor.... obviously not all bodies/bonnets fit perfectly so some may look a tad odd.

personally i think a bit of extra ground clearance is not a bad thing, unless you really need the handeling spot on i guess?
