Gearbox sensor wiring

Hi all
Off hand can anyone recall the route that the gearbox sensor wiring takes (S2 V6). When I put my body back on I routed it down past the reverse light swtch and under the gearbox to the sensor but just looking down through the gearlever aperture on the transmission tunnel it looks fairly close to the exhaust box. Rather than take the exhaust off unecessarily (if the wiring is not long enough), does anyone recall if this set of wiring can go over the top of the gearbox instead ? Should really have made more notes and taken more photos prior to the rebuild.

Pretty sure mine does an "up and over " add a tie wrap or two and all is well clear of the exhaust

Mmmmmm thats what I was thinking, looks like its exhaust off for a third time since putting the body back on...should have left it till last ! Never mind better to get it right eh ! Thanks for the response !
