Master cylinder, fallen at first hurdle! help!! with photos

I feel a right idiot! I can't even figure out how to get this part off (is this the "Clevis pin" that in the bible you just "remove"!!? to release the push rod from the clutch lever. How the hell does it come off? In photo 2 the black arrow is pointing to what feels like a pin? I really don't want to do anything that buggers it up, so I hope one of you can help me! Undo the "clip" just infront of the nut, rotate it around and the the pin part of it will pull out.
