Hi, does anyone know how to remove the casette radio?
Just been to Halfords to buy a removal tool, but after the Halfords man tried a selection of tools, they said they would not be able to remove it intact.
As I want to keep it for originality sake, I told them to stop tinkering.

Thanks

If you can't pull it out, lift up the centre console and try pushing the whole unit out from the back.

Just wanted to remove it so I could access switches on centre console.
None of mine work, but the switch that matters is the Heater Fan. Some heat around the footwell would be nice.

Eventually, I want to re-furbish the panel which looks a mess.

I like the novelty of a radio cassette player, even though I don't have any cassettes.

Could always get it modified if you want to keep "classic look" but have modern connectability !

errrm. I once asked something similar and was told to park it with the windows down somewhere, wait and voila - it has gone.
