I hear the creaking of a can of worms being opened biggrin Have you thought about a cermakrome finish?

A pair of V8S manifolds and the Y-piece would be around £370 + VAT so not cheap but much better looking than the lagging (IMHO smile).

That looks great, I have a S1 and dream of doing that to it but my utter lack of skill and ability prevents me. Good to see another Linc person here!!

It's something I really enjoy, don't set yourself a time limit, if it takes me 3 years-so what. Think of it as a big Airfix kit. It really is a simple car to work on

Got to admit that looks a lovely, and thorough, restoration. Mine has had to be a 'rolling' restoration and will never be that good. As far as the pipes go....cover my nice SS downpipes....never!

Just thought it would bring temperature down in engine bay, are there any photos of 2.8 intake ideas to bring cool air in, I'm happy to engineer something but need to see what someone else has done
Thanks in advance
