Just had an email for this show.

Is this the one we ended up at after our little rumble and night out last year?

Anyone up for organizing something this year, thoroughly enjoyed it last year from the "mini car (and bike) show" at the pub Saturday to the pleasant and informal show on Sunday?

Looks like you're the man, you really talked yourself into this one!
If you're organising the TVR contingent, I can offer you my full support,
I'll even have it laundered first! Stamford is only an hour or so away from me,
it's a good excuse for a test run & it keeps my S ticking over nicely.
Yes I'm up for that, anyone else fancy a nice run out on 26 August 2012?
All good fun, & all for good causes. It doesn't get any better than that!
Cheers, Glen.

Bring me sunshine.smile

Mike,

Subject to being around that weekend (which I think I will be) Í'm happy to do another Rutland Rumble & co-ordinate the car show bookings if anyone else fancies it wink

It's a really good show, we usually take about 30-40 cars from TVR CC and have a reserved area. Advantage for partners is the town centre is nearby if they don't want to stay at the show all the time.

As Ian says, you do have to book for this onesmile

I'm definitely up for this Ian,thank you for offering to "take the reigns".

Any more interested, full weekend like last year or a one day run out to Stamford?

posted earlier and it's not showing.

Anyhow, my entry arrived today, I notice they are doing a run too. Although I was booked in to the show last year, I couldn't attend. I wonder if anyone from here did, and if so what the run was like. I ask as there were no runs in previous years as far as I know.

(without wishing to confuse, anyone going on a Longers' run will enjoy themselves, great planner, good pace smile).

Thanks Dave!

From memory the 2011 run organised by the show was on the Sunday morning and there was a £20 or £25 fee. It went to charity but it still seemed a bit pricey...

You're welcomesmile

I didn't know they charged, I'm surprised at that - however it is for charity. I also wondered about the pace etc.

Whatever you decide, a run around the small county at some point would be good.... hint smile

Happy to come out for a run with you planning if you like, although previous routes were very good and reusable smile
